Foundation www.nifindia.org 4 Patents Granted by government of India. But
from last 10 to 12 years implementation is nothing! Even I saw problem in Delhi

Introduction of Safety Valve for Stove.
Kerosene oil based stoves are very common in use in lower &
middle class of society and small scale industries in
India. Even it will be difficult to evaluate the numbers of stoves used in India .
Such stoves are manufactured by small units in different cities &
towns in India
without any quality standards and safety provisions. Some time because of more
air pressure created due to more amount of air pumped in these pressure stoves
oil tank burst out and cause for accidents. Generally while using pressure
stoves if the flame is burning at a low speed then more amount of air is pumped
inside pressure stoves, oil burns in pressure stoves at a more pace. Bit if the
pipe or burner is blocked because of some impurities, sediments then still oil
will burn at lower pace, but user does not recognize this problem and
continuously pumping air inside the stove, after some time pressure level rises
so high in the oil tank that tank bursts and moreover this bursting oil from
tank gets flame from the burner and generally an explosion cause higher
causalities.
For this invention I was wrote Dr. Yogananad Shashtri Ji
the health Minister of Delhi In 2004 , but no response came out.
This invention of Safety Valve by me, which will be
replaced at existing stove les on a particular location or preferably at the
hole from where oil is filled inside stove to release the excessive pressure.
To make affordable, this safety valve can be made from different materials like
aluminum, steel, rubber, plastic. etc. with simple construction.
One of the objects of the invention is to provide safety
to users; another object of the invention is to make this safety valve at an
affordable price so users can easily adopt this, which is made possible because
of its simple construction. Another object of the invention is to make this
safety valve so compatible, so that users who are already using pressure stoves
can also adopt this without any major changes. Another object of the invention
is to make this safety valve, so that it can be used without any modification
in pressure stove and lamps.
And it is also awarded by National Innovation Foundation
India by R.A.Mashelkar and supported by Department of Science and Technology
and Successfully tested by Indian Institute of Petroleum Dehradun, and also
supported by TIFAC.ORG.

Safety valve for pressure stove
Innovator:
Shri Agastya Narayan Shukla,
|
General
observation .
|
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->
. -_~,~?;jh::}-::};.i·, 5
It
is a metallic safety valve for the kerosene pressure stove and is based on
dead weight pressure release principle. The construction is similar to that
commonly used in pressure cookers. It can be fitted on the kerosene tank of
the stove and is intended to release the air from the kerosene oil tank when
the pressure exceeds a certain set pressure.
|
Test
results:
.... ' ,.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·<!--[endif]-->The sample safety valve was pneumatically
tested at various test pressures. The dead weight of the safety valve pops up
at 0.7 Kg/cm2 pressure which is lower than the kerosene test pressure 1.4
Kg/cm2 as prescribed by
|
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·<!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !vml]--><!--[endif]-->
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·
<!--[endif]-->The
design needs improvement so as to release the pressure at desired value.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->·
<!--[endif]-->The
safety valve can be used as a useful accessory for the kerosene pressure
stoves.

5.0 Conclusion
Based
on the preliminary observation and test results, the status of scope of further
improvement / value addition to the innovations are as shown in Table -1.
It is worth to mention here that the Bureau of Indian
Standards (BIS ) has already laid
down specifications for the construction and performance of various types of
stoves, burners and allied products. So it would be desirable that these
innovations, after incorporating suitable value addition, should also meet the
minimum requirements as per the standards, besides being user friendly and cost
competitive.
Now I the innovator Agastya Narain Shukla want to
respond on this testing report to www.nifindia.org
.
On
“Safety Valve for Stove”
<!--[if !supportLists]-->1.
<!--[endif]-->“Safety Valve for Stove” having
already the facility that we can minimize or maximize the weight of Valve any
time when we need, and it is also mention in its Patent Application, in claim
6. A safety valve in a stove as claimed in claim 4, wherein said annular weight
is selected according to the size of the stove, so that larger volume stoves
are provided with bigger weights and smaller volume cylinders are provided with
smaller weights.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->2.
<!--[endif]-->I also want to indicate that if
some time standards are wrong than I am not bound to make my innovation or
product according to that, eg. IIP Dehradun and BIS
is not looking to the actual users of stove, maximum percentage of stove users
are using stove who are made in unorganized sector and that kind of stoves are
very week and low cost also.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->3.
<!--[endif]-->According to BIS standard if I made “Safety Valve for Stove”
then this valve not work properly
or may be not work with stoves that are made in unorganized sector or having
week oil tank.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->4.
<!--[endif]-->I am simply requesting that
please give your attention to actual users of stove and make two type of
standards if market need.
.
Yours truly,
Agastya Narain Shukla
Introduction
of
: An Advance Toothbrush
The purpose of the invention is to provide a readymade arrangement so
that toothbrush and toothpaste can be accommodated in a single assembly.
Advance toothbrush is very much different from existing toothbrushes especially
from handle. This toothbrush can be held like in conventional toothbrush from
its handle, peculiarity of handle being empty from inside and being capable of
being filled with toothpaste. During use
a knob which is at one end of the handle when rotated in a particular
direction, the inside placed piston will push to toothpaste, toothpaste ejects
out from brush portions of toothbrush after passing through a hollow portion of
the tube. Advance toothbrush can be made from any of metal, plastic or rubber
so that it will be more durable, more attractive from the existing one. Advance
toothbrush is made from many parts; which can be replaced whenever needed. In
advance toothbrush the portion of brush called head which is having bristles
can be detached from the neck, In advance toothbrush any existing toothpaste
can be filled as per demand. Advance toothbrush can be filled number of times
with desired toothpaste. The bristles portion i.e. head of advance toothbrush
can be made up in number of designs, so
that consumer may use brush of its choice and convenience. In advance
toothbrush brush and toothpaste are
provided in a single assembly, this eases the consumers a lot as no need to
carry separately both. As desired materials can be used in advance toothbrush,
hence it is more eco friendly; this advance toothbrush is based on the philosophy of ‘long and
continuous use’ and not on ‘use and throw’. Its outer and inner parts can be
dismantled, maintained and replaced.
